May 31,2022: KKRSS Central committee felicitated Miss Deurali Chamling who is amongst the team of the First Women Journalists Everest Expedition-2018 making it to the top of 8848-metre peak with the slogan ‘Unified Voice for Equity’. She is also the first Khambu Rai (Women) to ever climb Mount Everest.
The program was held in Darjeeling Gymkhana and was attended by Mr. Amar Singh Rai, Vice Chairman SJDA, Dr. Pratap Rai, President, KKRSS central committee, Mr. Zamling Tenzing Norgay son of Mr. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa , Mrs. Sudha Rai, Councillor, Darjeeling Municipality, KKRSS founding members Mr. C.R Rai, Mr. Hemu Rai, Secretaries of KKRSS Central Committee, District Committee, Municipality, Joint Secretary of Darjeeling Municipality, President of District Committee and other members of KKRSS.
