Activities of KKRSS units, rally in Mirik for ST status for Khambu Rai

December 29, 2025, Mirik: Mirik Mahakuma Samity usually grandly observes Udhauli Sakela. Members of Khambu Rai from across the Mirik periphery participate in any event called by Mirik Mahakuma Samity. During the occasion, Khambu Rais of the entire Mirik region participated in the rally for the Scheduled Tribe status for Khambu Rai, organised by Mirik Mahakuma Samity. Scheduled Tribe status for Khambu Rai has been the long-pending demand of KKRSS.

Sakela observed across the Darjeeling hills, such as in Tiger Hill by Mothan Samity, Sitong under Kurseong subdivision, Glenburn under RR block, Dooars Alipurduar, etc.
