September 29, 2024: KKRSS has successfully conducted the Seminar on Mundhum by the Dr. Vishnu Singh Rai at the Gymkhana club, Darjeeling. Dr. Vishnu Singh Rai, a renowned scholar from Nepal and professor of Tribhuwan University, was invited for the seminar, where he thoroughly explained on the subject the subject of Khambu Mundhum. His detailed presentation is available in the link below. Later, there was a meeting held between KKRSS and AKRSS at the Gymkhana club. During the meeting, the issue of tribal status for the Khambus of Sikkim and Darjeeling was raised and the ethnic report should be same from Sikkim and Darjeeling.
