January 27, 2024: A meeting of the Sukia Block Committee was held in the Pokhrebong today. The Meeting was presided over by Shri Prakash Hangkhim, president of Sukia-Jorbunglow Block Committee. Most of the Sakha’s portfolio holders from Pokhrebong III and block committee officials were present. The Legal Advisor of the Central Committee, Shri Pranay Rai, was invited as a chief speaker on the constitutional aspects. However, due to a health issue, Shri Pranay Rai could not attend the program. In his absence, central committee members Shri Udhyan Rai and Shri Kishore Rai represented him and spoke on his behalf. An interactive session on various issues was held.
On this occasion, the Pokhrebong III Gram Panchyat Committee was formed today. The meeting has unanimously decided the following:
