May 19, 2024: KKRSS Executive Meeting held at CC Office, Supermarket, Darjeeling, on April 9, 2024, had unanimously decided to celebrate 2 days Sakela Uvauli festival at the premises of Chowrasta. In the festival, long pending desire of KKRSS for Sili Utsav, is also decided to hold the competition of Sili across the Darjeeling hills and Tarai, plains of North Bengal. Accordingly, press releases for the same were issued on May 18 & 19.
